The water level in the Rio Grande has reached a low stage and the siphon that takes water from the river and directs it into the Corrales Acequias for flood irrigation distribution is unable to draw any water in. We need rain to water Corrales' crops.

Agriculture has long been a tradition in the Village of Corrales. Traveling the Village, one finds many vineyards, corn and chile fields, and more.
