Mayor's Message for September 2nd, 2022

Horses in Corrales

The mornings have been great! Walking in low 60’s on the ditch, water running in the ditch, real quiet. That’s why we came and now stay here. We have actually had good rainfall at our house this year, 6.7 inches, but obviously not enough with the intense afternoon heat for so much of the summer. But, to use a familiar quote, “winter is coming”.

Sundays in the Village

First Sunday - September 4th is right around the corner!  The first Sunday of each month is special in Corrales, the village comes alive with entertainment, food and beverages.  Do come out and visit the galleries, shops, breweries and Corrales’ Growers Market.  At Corrales Bosque Gallery (CBG) they will celebrate “A Murder of Crows” - the theme for the month - with a reception from 1-5 pm on September 4th.  Many of the gallery artists will be available to chat about their pieces and answer questions. Snacks and drinks will be provided, so please join us for thoughtful discussions and fun interactions.
