The Village of Corrales is assisting with intake and storage for a Hurricane Harvey Relief Drive. Citizens in the Village have coordinated with a Rio Rancho group to transport the items to Texas. Please see the attached flyer for information on items that are need and drop off locations as well as links for cash donations to support relief efforts. Sorting and packaging for shipping will take place the week of September 18, 2017 with everything needs to be packaged and delivered to the shipping location by Friday September 22, 2017 If you would like to volunteer to help sort and package items please email Marta Weber at firstname.lastname@example.org Place Harvey relief –volunteer in the heading.
We will also need donations of supplies to sort and package the donations. Needed items are boxes, trash bags-kitchen size, gallon size zip lock bags, Box tape and masking tape. These items can be dropped off at the same locations listed in the flyer.

Corrales Fire Department 4920 Corrales Road daily between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm
Corrales Recreation Center 500 Jones Road Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 4:000pm
A great donation Idea is to make hygiene care packets, make each packet for one person place items into a zip
lock bag: toothbrush tooth paste, hand sanitizer, a comb, Lip balm, lotion, razor, any personal care items that
can be handed out as a complete kit.
Food: Unexpired, non-perishable and easy-to-make, pet food unopened
Hygiene: Hand sanitizer, soap, feminine products, razors, tooth paste, tooth brushes lotion, Band-Aids
Children’s Supplies: Diapers, wipes, bottles, formula, diaper rash cream (in their original, unopened
packaging) and cribs, playpens, car seats (new or gently used condition), and toys.
Clothing: New or CLEAN gently used, and seasonally-appropriate. (e.g. shirts, pants, socks, shoes.) New
undergarments can only be accepted.
Supplies: Cleaning supplies (e.g. bleach, sponges, mops, N95 filtration masks, gloves, buckets,)
Toys: Only new or clean, gently-used toys will be accepted (e.g. books, board games, battery-operated games)
Bedding: New bedding (sheets, pillows, comforters, etc.) in unopened packages are preferred
Examples of how to label: Items must be shorted, labeled and neatly packaged
Boys clothing size 8 and 10
Toys Age 6 month to 18 months
