Village To Complete Jones Property Acquisition

The Village Council will vote Tuesday at its July 19th meeting on a resolution for the administration to proceed with closing on the recently approved acquisition of the remaining property of the Harvey and Annette Jones estate. The property, which is located on the north side of the Recreation Center and west of the Post Office will be the new home to the Parks and Public Works Departments maintenance and equipment storage facilities. "I am very happy to have worked with the Corrales Village Mayor and his administration to complete the sale of my family property. My parents Harvey and Annette Jones and I have always loved and supported the Village and its citizens. I know that this will help to complete the Village complex and be a great asset to the community." Mayor Scott Kominiak added, “This is a great opportunity to expand our contiguous property while we have the resources to do so and to acquire a secure, dedicated spot for our equipment fleet. We really appreciate Sherry’s efforts to help us get this done.”
