Village Council

The Village Council will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., except for the months of November and December, will meet only on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are held in the Village of Corrales Council/Municipal Court Chambers at 4324 Corrales Road, with Zoom participation available. Occasionally special events require relocation to another building.  Such relocations are posted publicly well in advance of the meeting.  Information for accessing the meetings via Zoom are posted in the agenda for each meeting, and can be found on the Village website by clicking the "Council Meeting Zoom Link" tab on the homepage.

The Village of Corrales government maintains a long tradition of citizen involvement.  There is an item called the Corraleños Forum where anyone can address the Council regarding an issue of concern, as long as the topic is not already listed as an agenda item. Typically, public comment is not taken after presentations given to the Governing Body. The Governing Body does not comment nor take any action during the Corraleños Forum, but a Village Councilor may request additional action at a later time.  Residents must sign up to speak at meetings, and may do so by signing the sheet posted by the door prior to the start of the meeting, or by contacting the Village Clerk, Melanie Romero, before noon the day of the meeting at 505-897-0502, ext 208, or by email at mromero [at] corrales-nm.org.
