- On Mon. 04/08 a Village resident received a phone call from a female claiming to be her daughter, who had been kidnapped,
and was conned into wire transferring funds. Screen your calls and, if you are contacted by someone purporting to be a loved
one in danger, slow the momentum and try to verify their identity, as well as call their usual number to see if they’re okay. More

- On Wed. 04/09 a Socorro resident who was storing firearms at the home of a friend in Corrales reported that one of his
handguns had been stolen, possibly by an acquaintance of the homeowner. Please make sure that your firearms are properly
secured so that they don’t end up in the wrong hands.
- On Fri. 04/12 Officers were dispatched to a road rage call in the area of Sanchez Rd. Officers contacted one of the drivers who
stated it had happened on Paseo Del Norte, another driver became angry and exited her vehicle with a chain and hit his vehicle
several times. The vehicle continued to follow him into Corrales. Officers were able to locate the other driver. Upon contacting the
other driver, the driver had a outstanding warrant, and the female driver was arrested. The female driver was cited by BCSO deputy
for the incident on Paseo Del Norte. Then booked into SCDC.
